About the Spring Salon

Springville Museum of Art – Spring Salon

Founded in 1922, the Spring Salon is one of the longest-running and most respected juried exhibitions in the American West. Over the years, it has featured work by artists such as Norman Rockwell, Georgia O’Keeffe, Edward Hopper, and Cyrus Edwin Dallin.

In 2024, nearly 1,400 works were submitted, with only 19% selected for exhibition. Photography represents only a small fraction of accepted works, making inclusion a distinct honor.
