Client Comments

“Beautiful Dave, just stunning. Photography is often described as the capture of light, but your work goes far beyond that. You have a remarkable ability to choose compelling subjects at precisely the right moment, with just enough surrounding detail to provide context without distracting from the heart of the image. The result is artwork that truly moves the viewer. You have elevated photography into fine art.”

Majestic Moose

Jackson Hole, Wyoming

A Park City client discovered my moose collection through my website.

During a complimentary in-home consultation, I presented a full-size canvas swatch produced from a section of the photograph, along with premium frame samples and a digital mockup showing how the finished artwork would look in their home.

Robs Trail Baby Moose

Park City, Utah

While vacationing in Park City, a Florida couple encountered a Moose, making it the perfect reminder of their time in Utah.

They selected a premium matte-finish metal print for its rich color, low glare, and durability in Florida's humid climate. Displayed in their bathroom, it provides a peaceful focal point overlooking their jacuzzi.

Medusa Aspens

Soapstone Basin, Utah

Neighbors in The Colony at White Pine Canyon wanted artwork that reflected the mountain landscape surrounding their Park City home. After evaluating the space, I recommended Medusa Aspens and created digital mockups to visualize the finished installation.

They selected an exhibition canvas for its natural texture and low-glare finish. A printed canvas swatch and custom floating frame completed a presentation designed specifically for their home.

First Snow on Fall Leaves

La Sal Range, near Moab, Utah

When the client saw this photograph and read the story behind it, it resonated deeply. The transition from autumn to winter reflected a meaningful season in his own life as his children were leaving home.

He chose a traditional Chromogenic (RA-4) silver-halide print, hand-developed using classic wet photographic chemistry and face-mounted to museum acrylic. The process beautifully complemented the timeless nature of the image.

Horns and Thorns

Pony Express Trail, Utah

The Victory Ranch client requested a western scene featuring cattle to create the "Western vibe" his daughter envisioned for a wall adjacent to the entertainment room. To add a meaningful local connection, I selected a photograph of Longhorns that I captured in Utah’s West desert.
